Kuban Agro was the first

in Russia

Kuban Agro operates and develops in accordance with the Japanese production system known as ‘Kaisen’. The system is based on the concept of permanent improvement in order to increase value and reduce losses. The implementation of this production system enables the company to significantly increase production quality and reduce costs with little or no investment.

The overall economic effect of the production system implementation exceeded RUR 750 million.
Since 2007 labour productivity has tripled, from RUR 106,000 to 333,000.
The rewards paid to the employees for the implementation of improvements exceeded RUR 10 million.
Thanks to the implementation of the production system, in 2012 and 2013 Kuban Agro became one of the top-5 most efficient land users in Russia.
Improvements in productivity resulted in the doubling staff salaries.

Today work on production implementation is being directed at the realization of large-scale projects which aim to optimize production (trucking services, end product warehouses reorganization, increasing elevators capacity and seed packaging lines automation), and also the implementation of improvements with proven efficiency benefits across the whole company.
