Deripaska’s wheat grower starts sales at Russian Black Sea port

OOO Upravlayushaya Kompaniya Agroholding Kuban, which previously sold wheat to traders from its silos, now also offers shipments on free-on-board terms at Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, the wheat grower said in an e-mail today.
The first sale of 50,000 metric tons of the grain was to a "large" Austrian trader, Agroholding Kuban said, without naming the company. It shipped half of that amount earlier this month, and will deliver the remainder later this month, it said.
The company, which produced 211,000 tons of wheat in this season started July 1, may export directly to the end consumer in the future, according to the statement. Agroholding Kuban is controlled by Deripaska’s Basic Element
